When it comes to technology Sony has been a leader almost from the beginning. Whether it be an HDTV, a surround system or Sonys latest release second-gen Sony S-Series Walkman.
The new MP3 player with which you will get top-notch sound quality, impressive battery life, and even the added bonus of external speakers which gives it a feature the new ipod fails to have.
Sony has released two versions of the walkman, the S640 and S740.These two players differ in only one way: the S740 offers integrated noise canceling, whereas the S640 does not. Which to me sounds like a great option. Both versions offer a 32gb and a 64gb version which lacks the size of the ipod by nearly half.
A price has not yet been released but as reading the reviews it looks like the ipod needs to watch its back or the new Walkman might take reign over the MP3 world.
